The United Nations Association – United States of America (UNA-USA) launched a digital petition urging U.S. leaders to use the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals as a platform to stand up for justice at home and abroad. The petition calls attention to the hate and violence demonstrated in Charlottesville and the horrors of human trafficking to underscore the importance of human rights, respect, and inclusion-American principles found at the core of the UN’s mission.
